Audio: Share a song you can't help but sing along to.
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
She's coming in 12:30 flight
The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation
I stopped an old man along the way
Hoping to find some long forgotten words or ancient melodies
He turned to me as if to say, hurry boy, it's waiting there for you
It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
Theres nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had
The wild dogs cry out in the night
As they grow restless longing for some solitary company
I know that I must do whats right
Sure as kilimanjaro rises like olympus above the serengeti
I seek to cure whats deep inside, frightened of this thing that I've become
It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had
Hurry boy, shes waiting there for you
Its gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
Theres nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in africa, I bless the rains down in africa
I bless the rains down in africa, I bless the rains down in africa
I bless the rains down in africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had
In my boredom, I found this thingy on a quiz site that gives a dictionary definition for names. They're all random, however here are the first results for people in my neighbourhood and myself:
Jukebox Hero: A person with a sixth sense for detecting the presence of goblins
Knuckle Toes: A person with a taste for acorns
Abigail Road: Full of bees
Gamany: Sexually stunning
Disfunktional Sequence of Time: Tastes like fried chicken
Cute Frog: A hard-core grave robber
Palinode: Pretentiously academian
Schmutzie: A master blogger
Christine: A person who is constantly high
B-Rock and the Pub Dogs: A person who falls into an outhouse and dies
V-Man: Having the texture of congealed cheese
Show us chaos.

I did a google image search of chaos and picked my favorite from the first five pages.
Not too much to say today other than that i had the awesomely amazing job of filling graves in the hot prarie sun, which lead to the maturation of my farmer tan...or farmer burn as it were.
I'm currently working on creating a new banner for the vox. Should be pretty sweet.
To not make have this post end up being totally useless, I'm going to answer the question of the day about what book I'd give someone as a gift. I would give Abigail Road this book:
Well good folks of Vox, here I am on location in SackVille.
I'm spending my summer here working for the public works department here being a labourer/grunt/bitch. It's my third summer doing this now. I took a hiatus last year but finally made my triumphant return this morning at 8 am. It's been kind of hard to adapt. There's been BIG changes since I've been gone. We, uh, got a new lawn mower. We get, uh, new gloves. Like I said: BIG changes.
The day was boring as hell but I got my exercise. I wandered around picking up litter from 8:15 to 9:55, stopping briefly to pick up a $5 bill, and do a small happy dance. Then there was the coffee break. 10:30 to 11:50. Lunch. 1:05 to 2:55. Coffee again. And finally, we ended our grueling day at 4:50 with 10 solid minutes to just sit around. Tough work. Really tough work.
The real tough part of being here in SackVille isn't the work, fighting off boredom, or dealing with the fact that after only one day I already have a farmer tan, it's being away from Knuckle Toes so much. My darling is a long 3 hour drive from me, and my first night away from her was an ordeal in itself. However, I must percerviere fore this work will aid in my quest to fend off the dragon which is otherwise known as Student Loans.
Now I must leave to rest my weary head after my grueling first day and rest up for my ardous second day.
What's your suggestion for the Question of the Day?
Inspired by Princesskasren.
My suggestion of the QotD is:
